EXTRA MILE WINNER

Well done to this week's extra mile winner, Rosie Pointer from The Beech Academy, who delivered an excellent session on the Professional Learning Day covering Independent Learning.  She used a variety of research to support her session which was very well received.   Well done

Year 1 – Year 6 from the Bramble Academy all went to St Edmunds Church for our Harvest Festival. It was a lovely afternoon with some great performances by our children. The children were great ambassadors for the school.

The Bramble Academy held their very first Halloween Disco with the help of The Peaceful Trust. 80 children attended the disco and all the proceeds are going towards our playground fund #bpf We even had some Disney characters attend – Belle (from Beauty and the Beast), Elsa (from Frozen) and Mother Gothel (from Tangled). The Chad newspaper attended and there is a small piece in last weeks edition.

Students went to the Foxwood Academy to play football earlier this week. We are pleased to report that there was lots of excellent teamwork and our students were a credit to the school. Well done!

POST 16 DEVELOPING EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS

We have high aspirations for all of our students and encourage them to broaden their horizons. Employability worker Laura has been working with our students to develop skills that will help them in the workplace. Here are some of our students endeavouring to solve a challenge.

Here are some 6th Formers from the Brunts Academy visiting Pendragon.
