Goodbye to our Year 6 children of The Bramble Academy
We are delighted to have held a special assembly in school on Monday, 20th July to give our Year 6 children a warm send off to secondary school. Unfortunately we were not able to give them the prom they deserve due to Covid-19, but we could not let the children leave Bramble without celebrating their hard work and achievements. Our assembly included a beautifully written poem read by their Class Teacher and Assistant Headteacher, Natalie Elliott, and a special song that was sang to the children from members of the Trust Executive Team and Academy Senior Leadership Team. There was not a dry eye in the hall. This was followed by an awards ceremony with all children receiving an engraved trophy, certificate, gifts, their end of year hoodie and a year book to remember their time at the Bramble Academy, and this was followed by enjoying a pizza specially cooked for each of them. Special CEO awards were presented by Miss Cuthbert, CEO of the Evolve Trust, to recognise those children who have demonstrated the Trust values of Ambition, Endeavour, Resilience, Inclusivity and Integrity. A brilliant send off for a truly brilliant group of Year 6 children.
We are so proud of our Year 6 children and will miss them loads – we wish them all the very best for the future. May you all be successful and happy in life.
A huge thank you to Dean Kelly and Cento Recruitment for their kindness today. The donation of laptops will be very well received by our students.
