Fellowship Programme in partnership with Nottingham Trent University

2020/21 Fellowship Programme cohort is due to start in February 2021.

Module is Reflecting on Professional Development.

Projects 2019/20:

The Evolve Trust M-Level Accredited Fellowship Programme

This programme prepares staff to engage with and critically reflect on an Action Research project linked to school development priorities. It encourages staff to consider how engaging with evidence-informed research can have an impact on individual professional practice and a wider audience in order to create opportunities for all to believe in themselves, achieve their potential and develop the skills needed to succeed and enjoy life.

As part of the NTU assessed aspect, participants are expected to complete a 6000 word portfolio which covers three components:

  1. A reflection on professional learning (a personal reflection on the existing literature and policies on the chosen Action Research topic)
  2. An impact analysis of the professional development (an outline of what you did, what you found and what impact it has on your own teaching and students learning); and
  3. The dissemination tool to share new knowledge (how and what you will disseminate what you found out to others).

The outcomes of the Action Research and subsequent portfolio are shared with the Trust and the NTU Research Partnership Conference in July. Successful participants have gone to fulfil leadership positions throughout the Trust and onto further professional study, such as the MA in Education or Doctor of Education (EdD) with NTU.
