Goodbye to our Year 6 children of The Bramble Academy

We are delighted to have held a special assembly in school on Monday, 20th July to give our Year 6 children a warm send off to secondary school. Unfortunately we were not able to give them the prom they deserve due to Covid-19, but we could not let the children leave Bramble without celebrating their hard work and achievements. Our assembly included a beautifully written poem read by their Class Teacher and Assistant Headteacher, and a special song that was sang to the children from members of the Trust Executive Team and Academy Senior Leadership Team. There was not a dry eye in the hall. This was followed by an awards ceremony with all children receiving an engraved trophy, certificate, gifts, their end of year hoodie and a year book to remember their time at the Bramble Academy, and this was followed by enjoying a pizza specially cooked for each of them. Special CEO awards were presented, to recognise those children who have demonstrated the Trust values of Ambition, Endeavour, Resilience, Inclusivity and Integrity. A brilliant send off for a truly brilliant group of Year 6 children.

We are so proud of our Year 6 children and will miss them loads – we wish them all the very best for the future. May you all be successful and happy in life.

A huge thank you to Dean Kelly and Cento Recruitment for their kindness today. The donation of laptops will be very well received by our students.
