Apprenticeships

At the Evolve Trust we are passionate about apprenticeships, and understand the incredible opportunities they can create for people to develop the skills and knowledge to truly add value to their future careers.

For some young people university is not the most appropriate option and therefore apprenticeships are key to ensure they develop the skills and knowledge to successfully transition to the workplace.  Apprentices have the opportunity to gain a qualification whilst working and developing their skills and knowledge in the workplace.

The Evolve Trust firmly believes in the governments flagship apprenticeship programme as a way of recruiting and developing its future workforce and at the same time up-skilling current employees. Apprenticeships are at the heart of our recruitment and workforce development strategy.

We are committed to fulfilling our statutory duty to employ an average of at least 2.3% of our staff as apprentices over the period of 01 April 2017 to 31 March 2021.

We will be looking to develop apprenticeship opportunities across a wide range of business functions, including:

  • Teaching
  • Aspirant leaders
  • Business Administration
  • Site Maintenance
  • Teaching Assistant
  • ICT
  • Finance

To ensure our apprentices get the best learning experience we will only work in partnership with the best apprenticeship providers.

All our apprentices will have a mentor in the workplace to support them with their journey.
